ABOUT
As a solo photographer based in Davison, MI, I have been creating photographs for nearly two decades. Though I started out learning photography through my own natural curiosity and many years of hands-on practice, I’ve strengthened my knowledge base as a student through New York Institute of Photography and also Cornell University’s Professional Development Program.
I have two passions in photography: portraiture and nature.
I tend to keep my portraits simple - natural, if you will - to bring out the innate beauty of the person I have the privilege of photographing.
Outside of portraiture, I am most inspired by nature - the organic colors and forms are truly amazing - but I also love documenting details of small towns and vibrant cities whenever I travel.
Being able to isolate an element within the confines of my camera lens through the viewfinder has allowed me to see things in a completely different way. I prefer keeping things simple, while simultaneously being creative.
